On the way there a few police cars passed us with their sirens on. When we got closer to the beach we saw that one of the houses was surrounded by five or six police cars. I mumbled something like "that doesn't look good" under my breath. Then from the back seat Logan pipes up with, "Yeah, that man (the one the officers were questioning) shouldn't have come outside without a shirt on. He is in big trouble!"
My mom ended up meeting us at the beach with my nephew, who she was babysitting today. We had the best time, and stayed until we were good and chilly. It was a big treat to get a beach day in February and Logan was about ready to go in swimming. I am loving these spring temps this winter!
Hooray for a lovely day at the beach! I love that you guys live so close. That's awesome now, but going to be even better as your kids get older! My sister lives 30 minutes from the beach and her babies were the cutest little beach babies when they were toddlers/little!
ReplyDeleteThanks :) Yes I love living close, and am really hoping our kiddos always love it as much as I do! That is fun that your sister lives close to the beach too! Do you visit her often?
Deletethat looks like fun!
