Our Trip To The Zoo

Before Baby Number Two Bucket List

• Go blueberry picking.
• Go to a drive in movie. 
• Have a picnic.
• Take a weekend vacation trip. More on that here.
• Do a bowling night.
• Go to build-a-bear for the first time More on that here.
• Let Logan decorate his own apron for helping out in the kitchen.
• Take/ have some updated family pictures done.
• Go to meet-a-character night at cowabungas.
• Go camping.  More on that here.
• Take a train ride into Boston. 
• Start a pizza and board games night for our family once a month.
• Take Logan to a theme or water park. More on that here.
• Go to the zoo or a petting farm. 
• Go apple picking.

Last month, (that is how far behind on blogging I am) we took a trip to the zoo. We went with Dan's side of the family, and had an awesome day together. Logan even got to ride a camel and an elephant with his Auntie.

I am hoping to get one field trip type of day in with Logan each month, so we decided this would be our first field trip of the year. When we got all of our pictures printed, we spent one of our school days making a scrapbook with pictures of the animals and what they each ate.

I put together a video of pictures from our trip, and a clip of Logan reading to us from his scrapbook. I told him that he could do the bedtime story one night, instead of us reading to him. I wasn't thinking about what awful quality the dark lighting would make that portion of the video so please excuse that in the clip at the end. I still wanted to include it because I loved adding in some of his thoughts on the day.
