Project 52

23/52
A portrait of my son, once a week, every week.

The alternator in our car died on the way home from the grocery store last night. Your daddy went out this afternoon and bought a new one to replace it. Within an hour or so, he had it working perfectly again. I am so thankful that your grumps taught your daddy about cars while he was growing up, because now he can do the same with you. You watched everything he did very closely and asked plenty of questions. At one point, I came out to see how everything was going, and told you that your hands were all black and you had just had a bath. You said proudly, "yeah they are black just like daddy's because we are working".
