Treasure It.

I took Logan out sledding again today. We went down the same small hill over and over again. Every time we got to the bottom he would say, "Let's practice that again!" After a while, we climbed to the top of a hill and he told me we were the king and queen of the mountain. He sat pulling pieces off of a stick that he had carefully held onto on the way up. When it looked just right to him he said, "I made you a wand to be the princess-queen" and handed me what was left of it. After listening to his imagination go wild for a few minutes, we headed to the woods to walk along the river. We sat on a log for a while as I asked him some questions. I asked what his favorite color was, and without hesitation he replied, "blue and purple". His favorite colors may change tomorrow, but I sat there thankful to know him just a little more today. I silently thanked God for his precious life and that he chose us for Logan. On our way back through the woods I was pulling him behind me on the sled. I was lost in thought about how blessed I feel, when I heard, "umm... momma? I am at an angle." I turned around to find him almost flipped onto his back and clinging onto the sled. Yes, buddy it looks as if you are "at an angle." :)
