Last night we went out trick or treating with my sister in law and nieces. This is the third year in a row that we have gone together. I love having pictures of the kids in their costumes as they get older. This is the second year Logan has wanted to dress up as Batman. He took his roll pretty seriously and wanted to know if Auntie Andrea would have a ladder so that he could fly off the roof to fight the Penguin and the Joker. There was no roof flying, but I know he had a great time anyway.
Andrea made the girls' dresses and they turned out absolutely beautiful. They had all of the detail that you can't always find in a store bought costume. I love that Eliza and Logan are pretty concerned about Paige's Anna doll in that first group picture.
Logan was so exhausted by the time we got home that I was sure he would get an excellent night of sleep in. I should know by now that I should expect the unexpected with him. He came into our room wide awake at 3am and woke Dan up...
Logan: "I was just washin' things!"
Dan: *Sighh* "What things?"
Logan: "... Just... things."
We found a brand new box of band-aids ripped apart all over the hallway and stuck to doors and walls everywhere. The sink in the bathroom was still on with a roll of toilet paper, hair clips, tooth paste and toothbrushes, and a bunch of soap in it. I am tempted to put him back in the crib until he is twelve or so.
Hope you all had an awesome Halloween with your families too!
