Lately.

A friend of mine posted this quote a few days ago and I loved it.

Whether you work outside of the home or not, I think this is so very true.

I recently took on a new cleaning job that I will do part time for a while. It is perfect because I can bring Logan with me which works out pretty well for us. He does well keeping busy while I work, and even works with me some of the time. I can pick my hours which leaves things very flexible.

The days that I do spend away from home, have already made me appreciate the days that I am able to be home with Logan that much more. It has had me stopping to just be grateful that I can be home with him during the day. It has made things like laundry, dishes, and cooking seem less like chores and more like doing what I love. We have spent a good amount of time in pajamas building towers, racing, and baking. We have been out collecting leaves, crafting, and reading.

I guess what I am saying is that I can tell this is right where I should be for now. There has never been a job that I love more than being home taking care of our family. We don't know God's plan for the future. We don't know if I will be working full time again someday, or if He will bless us with more kiddos to stay home and care for. But for right now I am so grateful for my time to just be here with Logan. I feel so blessed to be doing what I love to do.
