Block Towers & Bubble Gum

We are headed into another week, and just like that this past weekend has become memories.... little ones.... important ones. Ones that over time make up our whole life. The kind I will want to re-live again and again.

Dan was working Saturday, but that didn't stop him from calling just to talk to Logan. He made one little boy's day. It was written all over his face as they chatted about anything and everything Logan could think of.

We had a few more potty successes... and a few more failures too. We will keep working on it.

I had plenty of "help" with folding laundry.

A trip to the grocery store... where he got a cookie. A cookie he had to tell everyone we passed about.

Tall block towers and talk of belly buttons that start with the letter "B".

A perfect date night with Dan after a long work week.
Grammy and Grumps came to watch Logan.

A stop on the way because we were both in a bubble gum kind of mood.
And when there is no toddler to buckle back into the car little stops like that make perfect sense.

Talk about all of the things that we like to dream will happen over the next two years or so. Even if those things never do happen, I think it helps us stay close when we know each other's dreams.

Dinner was perfect. We headed back to the house with some cheesecake and decaf coffee to share.
We couldn't seem to get a picture that we were both smiling in. :)
My heart smiled a little Sunday morning when I told Logan it was time to get ready for church and he shouted, "YAY". I hope he always loves going as much as he does now.

After church Logan helped me make a big brunch.
The rest of the day went the way that Sundays should.
Family. Rest. Play. Books. Bubble Baths.

So here we are, starting a new week.
I hope you all had a fun filled weekend that you can add to your own memory bank.
