New Camera

It has been a long time coming, but we finally ordered a new camera this week. Our other camera has been barely holding on for about a year now... with a broken flash (making indoor or night pictures nearly impossible) and parts taped back together. We did a lot of research and reading reviews as well as trying some out in the store. We finally decided on a Sony (we absolutely loved the Sony that we got just before getting married and were so sad when the screen broke on that one).

We were trying to decide if we wanted to go with another point and shoot or a DSLR. I would love to have a nice DSLR someday, but I really wanted something small enough to carry with me just about everywhere. I am no photographer, and just wanted something to capture the everyday things that I want to remember. So we settled on a mid sized camera for now. It is easy to bring anywhere with us and so far I am really loving it.

I am hoping to be posting more often now and will probably be starting the friday flicks again too. I love looking at video clips of Logan from a year ago and think it would be so fun to keep up with those every week. It will also be nice to be able to take more pictures of Dan's indoor painting work.

& Since I have taken a million pictures this week I figured I would share a little of what we have been up to...
He was so excited to get up after nap time!

We had a fun little play date with Megan this week. They love each other and are so cute playing together.

I love how he covers his face with his puppy to fall asleep in the car.

We spent a few beautiful afternoons outside playing and working on our little garden area this week.

Kim, Nicole, and I had such a fun girls night in. Dan was sweet to take Logan Thursday night so that I could
spend some time with the girls watching a movie and ordering take out. A girls night every once in a while does wonders.

Love this sweet boy!

Showing off his tattoos.

Just having fun with different settings on the camera.
