A Little Upgrade

One of the things that we had in mind for a big present for Logan this year was a battery operated car. Some kids that live nearby have a couple of them. While I push Logan around in his little car he admires the ones that are just so much more exciting than his. Every time we walk by he asks to get on and I tell him that we can't use other people's things without asking first. While a good dose of patience is good for anyone, we knew we wanted to get him one eventually.

We decided that this year for either Christmas or his birthday (in January) we were going to do it. We thought about checking out craigslist, or clearance prices after Christmas. We didn't want to pay full price. I had posted this picture on Facebook saying that it was almost time to get him a battery operated one because he just loves cars so much! That night I got a message from a relative...

She told me that she had one that she was going to be listing on craigslist. It had only been used a couple times and was in perfect condition. It was also an awesome price! We decided to buy it, but then had to decide if we should wait to give it to him on Christmas or not. We ended up deciding it was best to just do it now while there is no snow on the ground. We didn't know if he would even be able to figure out how to drive it because he is still so young. He picked it up very quickly though, and has not wanted to get off since! He absolutely loves it!

Hooray for a great price, happy boy, and not having to deal with multiple craigslist meetings!
