Outside

Logan absolutely loves being outside. I am actually getting more excited about this summer all of the time. He is at such a fun age to be doing activities outside. A lot of times he just stands by the door and says "out" over and over again. We have been enjoying the spring weather and going out a couple times a day. He has also been spending time out on the deck when he wants to be outside but I need to get something done in the kitchen (right off of the deck).

He has been saying a few new words lately too.

He says:
"Un un un" for Run Run Run
"Out" for Outside
"Au-Do" for Thank you
"Iza" for Eliza
& Amen when we finish praying

I am sure there are more but those are the ones that I can think of right now. I love that he is learning to use more words and can communicate what he wants a little easier. He still points for most things, but it is exciting to watch him say new words and phrases.
One of our neighbor's little girls asked Logan if he wanted to try her bike. :)

Here is a picture of him in this chair last summer when we got it.
A lot has changed!

Excited to see daddy after work!

A snack of peas out on the deck before lunch. He hasn't been eating many veggies if I
put them on the tray with other food that tastes better. I have been trying
to offer only veggies for about 5 or 10 minutes before I add the rest of his lunch.

Dan and I have been enjoying being outside more too. We had some time to spend sitting on the deck and walking down by the river when Grammy Ham took Logan out one day. Another day we headed over to Grammy Parrott's early for dinner and she watched Logan while we went out back to do some practice shooting with the shot gun. It is nice to have some quality time with him!

We are thankful that it has started to warm up outside. I am so excited for the coming months with a toddler that enjoys it so much! It has also made me appreciative all over again, that I can be home with my little guy to watch him running and playing.
