The Perfect Break

Just over a week ago, we were getting buried in snow. Logan was crawling through tunnels and sliding down snow slides in our back yard. Yesterday, we went to the beach and stuck our bare feet in the waves and didn't so much as shiver. That is New England for you.

We have had a few really beautiful, sunny, warm (depending on what you are used to) days this week. It is amazing how a few days of sunshine can be the perfect reminder that you will actually make it to spring in one piece. This winter has been quite mild overall, but it was nice to be able to head to the beach without bundling up.

We also took a trip to my grandparents farm to see the animals this week. Eliott has slowly become much less fearful of all of the farm animals. However, he still seems to be absolutely terrified of the goats. Logan has had a bit of an obsession with bulls lately. He spent a good amount of time watching them, and trying to convince me that we should bring one home to live with us. With the exception of Eliott falling in a giant puddle, the boys had a great time!

    1. Yes, I feel so blessed that they have been able to learn so much about farming and gardening from their visits. It is so fun that they will be able to grow up with these experiences.
