Fair day is one of my most anticipated days each year. I started going to the Fryeburg fair with my family and relatives as a little girl, and have never been to a fair that I love more. Dan loved it the first time he came with me as teenagers too. The fair is a few hours away but we try to take a family day and go every year. It was so much fun watching Logan really have fun with it this year too. He was old enough enjoy the animals, horse races, and a few rides too.
Our day started before the sun had even risen. I was hoping Logan would fall back asleep in the car, and of course he didn't, but we are very blessed that he is so happy for car rides. The ride up north is one of the most beautiful trips we do all year. There is not much that tops driving into the mountains covered in all of the autumn colors while the sun rises above them. Add a warm coffee and some great music and... it's just perfection.
Here is a sneak peak into our day by way of so many pictures that my camera died hours before we left....

Logan loved that their "hair" looked like his. When adding these pictures I realized that between the car ride,
nap in a stroller, and hat, his hair really did start to look more and more like this throughout the day. |

He loved this cow. We visited her at least ten times throughout the day. |

A short nap to recharge :) |

Dan and I got ice creams while he napped. |

Watching the horse races. |

He was so excited to ride the carousel! He had been asking about it all day. |
I already can't wait to go again next year!
