I mentioned in my last post that I would be back later this week to post about the bag that I packed for car rides during vacation. I wanted to pack it with things that would keep Logan entertained for the four hour ride there and back, and also for all of the car trips that we took during the week. I packed everything in a canvas tote bag that I hung over the head rest of the front seat. That made it easy to grab things and switch them out whenever he wanted to do something new.
Some of the things he already had and some things I grabbed at target and the dollar store before we left:
1. V-tech toy SmartTop
2. Two board books that he loves
3. These flash cards have been a huge hit for about a year now and are the perfect "game" to help him recognize his letters.
4. He had fun with this fishing pole and "fish". I would put one in the cup holder of his car seat and he would fish for it and reel it in.
5. Yo-yo
6. I just filled a red balloon with flour to make a squishy ball of sorts for him to play with.
7. Lollipop... just in case
8. He loved coloring this little bag that came with markers but of course took to coloring all over the car too.
9. Toy phone and keys
10. Color wonder books are wonderful because he could color as much/ wherever his heart desired but it would only show up on the coloring book.
11. The yellow clutch wallet was full of old cards that he could play with. He loves wallets and can often be found hovered in a corner going through one of our wallets.
12. Batman figurine
13. Plastic car book
14. Etch A Sketch (Okay, this one was more for me to play with but he liked it too.)
15. Glow Stick bracelets
