A Good Change Of Plans

This morning Dan got up early and headed to a job that was almost two hours away. When he got there, they told him that things had changed and they weren't ready for him to start until next week. He was a little upset about the switch without anyone letting him know. I had planned to stay home and do a bunch of cleaning and a few things Christmas gift related. When Dan got home we decided to make the most of his day off even if it was an unexpected and slightly frustrating one.

We decided it would be fun to take Logan to the playground for a few hours. Then we realized that it was actually a pretty yucky day for the playground. Last week, my friend had told me about a deal on an indoor activity place that we have been wanting to try out for a while. The tickets were half off so I bought one when they were on sale. We decided today would be the perfect day to try it out.

We all loved it! It was so much fun watching Logan run from one activity to the next. Adults are free (even though we probably had just as much fun as he did). It was such a great way to spend a rainy day... and a great deal at only $5. It was totally worth not getting anything on my to-do list crossed off.

I don't know why I didn't think to bring my camera. I took some pictures with my cell phone though, and figured that I would at least post those. They aren't the best quality but show some great memories made.

Fishing in the car.

He loved throwing these balls all over the place.
They had so many fun toys for toddlers.

He kept saying "WOW" when the ball would shoot out.

We can't wait to go back!
