1. My crock pot. It is that time of year again. Favorite recipe as of late?... This Pork Roast. It turns out perfect every time and Dan has requested it a few times in the past few months. I haven't had red wine vinegar in the house for some reason so I have been using Worcestershire sauce in its place. Delicious.
2. I love when Dan kisses me goodbye, and the room still smells like his aftershave or cologne for a few minutes after I wake up. It's the best way to start the day. (In case your were a little worried he does not wear all of those at the same time.)
3. OPI's Mauving to Manitoba. It is such a great autumn color. Rich red with a little gold strewn through it. I bought it last year but it is making it's rounds again this year.
4. Yankee Candle's Macintosh. My all time favorite scent. We just used up the last of our large Macintosh candle that I had in the dining room. It is the perfect scent to have burning this time of year. It is second only to the smell of fresh apples cooking. I will have to grab another one next time they are having a sale.
5. Apple Cider Donuts. I try to make these when I have people around to share them with. I bought a donut pan last year and have made these a couple times each year when September and October roll around.
6. Apple Crisp is always another favorite this time of year. It is a good thing we do a bunch of family nights so that I can bake all of these fun desserts to share.
7. Finding little love notes from Dan after he has left for work is just the best.
8. I found these converse for Logan a few months ago and they have been amazing. You would think toddler shoe shopping wouldn't be very difficult but with his wide feet it can be a challenge. They are so easy to slip on with the velcro sides, and I got them at a great price too! They are our go to pair for just about any day.
9. Willow Tree's "Around You". Dan brought this little statue home for me last week. I love the willow tree collection and have for years. I had never spent the money on them, but secretly hoped Dan would surprise me with one for a birthday or special holiday. He did even better by surprising me on a random day. Something about the simplicity of them and neutral colors made me fall in love.

I am sure there are about a million other things I love right now. Something about this time of year makes me so happy and I tend to just love everything. Family time is just about my favorite thing ever though. We have been enjoying a lot of that these past few weeks. We had a ton of fun in Boston yesterday, so I will be back tomorrow with more about that.
