Adding a little color

Yesterday, I mentioned a quick project that I tackled during Logan's nap. It is something that I have been wanting to get to for a long time. We must have put the his bookshelf together late one night, when we were exhausted, because months ago I noticed that we had nailed the back of the bookshelf on the wrong way.

For months it has been in the back of my mind, but something more important always comes up. Most of the time I work on these projects while Logan is sleeping. Since he is usually sleeping in his crib, I haven't done anything about it. Yesterday, I decided that I would put him down for a nap in our room and tackle my little nap time project.

I wanted to add a little color to the white bookshelf because his walls are a light neutral color. I already had green wrapping paper and thought that would go well with the theme that is going on in his room. I had all of the supplies that I needed, so I removed the back of the bookshelf and wrapped it in the green wrapping paper. Then I used the staple gun to replace the back of the bookshelf.

I think it adds a fun pop of color to the room, without being too in your face.
