I love how....
- you are so excited when I come to get you in the morning. There is not much that I love more than starting my day with your smile.
- you spend so much time "fixing" toys with your "tools".
- you grab my finger and yell "RUN" when you need my help in the other room or just want to cuddle.
- a simple task such as going to get the mail, seems to be the about the most exciting adventure you can imagine.
- you count "One... Two... TEN!"
- you need to have whatever is on the very bottom of the toy box. Or maybe even everything that is on the bottom of the toy box. Empty it out, if that is what your little heart desires. It means that you had a good time. It also means I find any old food you may have dropped in there. It won't be like this for long.
- you actually carry on a real phone conversation now with plenty of toddler babble and squeals.
- you would much rather put stickers all over your face than on a paper.
- you love building forts out of cardboard boxes and sheets. The rolling laugh you let out while you hide in your fort waiting for me to find you is the best.
- you want to read "Wacky Wednesday" 372,932 times a day. I will have it memorized by the time you are two.
- you say "Bless you" after someone sneezes. Recently, on a trip to the farm you even said "Bless you" after a pig came right up close to you and oinked. You are pretty darn cute.
- you love batman. Your favorite movie might just be the classic 1966 batman movie. Crazy kid... you will gladly sit through the whole movie.
- you have started walking all over the place on your tippy toes... testing out your balance perhaps?
- you love water, swimming, splashing, and bath time.
- you have warmed up to the idea of being left in church nursery. Instead of crying the whole time, you only cry for about five minutes when you are dropped off. After that you are usually happy to play for the rest of the hour. It makes it much easier for mommy to focus in church... and I am sure it is a lot easier on the workers too.
- you have always been such a happy boy in the car. You are totally my kid cause I could drive for hours and love every second of it.
- you love the outdoors. You love the show Curious George too, but you would rather be playing outside any day.
- you share your daddy's love of frogs. I also love the way you say "BIBBIT" instead of "Ribbit". I don't know if I can ever bring myself to tell you the right way to say it.
- you love family. You are a happy camper when you are around your aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, mommy, and daddy. You have amazing family, and so many people there to love and support you. I hope that you always remember how loved you are.
- when you are tucked in at night, and sound asleep, I can still see a little bit of baby in you. Maybe I will see it no matter how old you are... I hope so.
I love you sweet boy!
