The midwife that we saw was actually the one that was new to the practice so although it seemed like she may have felt a little awkward trying to go over how the hospital handles everything, she gave us so much information and we were able to ask questions about how delivery will go. We found out that the baby is now only measuring one week ahead so we don't have to do any extra testing. He is also already in the correct position for birth (hoping he stays like that). This also explains the bulge coming out of the top of my stomach a lot of the time (his butt). I am so happy that we were able to switch and think it will make a huge difference in how I handle everything for the rest of the pregnancy!
Also I realized that I had posted about getting normal sleep again in my last post. I do realize that I won't be sleeping normal for a very long time. I think I was more referring to sleeping more comfortably again. Who knows maybe we will be lucky and he will be an awesome sleeper.... but I am not getting my hopes up yet. :)
I found a few really cute quotes that I loved for baby bibs. When I was looking at some of the prices I decided to just get a blank pack of bibs and make them myself. I got done the first one today and can't wait to make more. Here is a picture of the one that I finished...
I am excited to try out a few more. If anyone has any cute suggestions I have extra bibs so feel free to give me ideas. I think I might try a dress shirt and tie bib next.
I also got more Christmas shopping done today. If I can only keep Dan from finding out what these ones are before Christmas I will be doing alright. It seems like the day after I buy something he guesses what I got and of course I can't help but smile when he guesses right. I can't stand waiting until the last minute to get everything so I guess I will just need to get better at hiding it. Time for bed... I think this may just be my favorite time of the day!
