35 Weeks

I can't even believe I am only about 5 weeks away from meeting my little boy. I am getting so anxious to meet him. I put his car seat in the car this week and have started getting things ready for him. I did THREE loads of baby laundry Monday. It seems like there is still a lot to do but little by little it is becoming even more real.


I have noticed some changes lately too. Mostly uncomfortable changes but that just means we are getting that much closer! I have noticed swelling in my ankles and feet so I am trying to slow myself down some and take a little time to put them up during the day. I have noticed that it is getting much more tiring to walk around. Dan and I went to try to finish our Christmas shopping in Freeport today. We had a blast but all those stairs made a good workout.


One interesting thing that I have noticed is that he loves to sit on the right side of my belly. It looks even more silly now that my belly has grown so much. It seems like every time I look down the right side is sticking out much further than the left. I wouldn't change this time for the world and have loved being pregnant but it will be so nice to at least fit into some of my old clothes and be able to breathe and sleep normal again.

Here are a few things about the baby at 35 weeks:

• He is about 17.2 to 18.7 inches
• He is about 5 to 5.8 pounds (but still measuring 2 weeks ahead so may be more)
• His hearing is fully developed
• His liver and Kidneys are fully developed and are in working order
