Dan and I went on vacation this week to celebrate our anniversary. We left Monday night after Dan got out of work. We checked into the hotel that we had stayed at on our wedding night. It was so relaxing to just have a night with him and no other distractions. I had not been sleeping well at all the few nights before we left. I think I slept about 4 hours each night for three nights in a row. I don't think it is because the baby is keeping me up. I think I just have so much on my mind that I can not get it to turn off at night. So Monday night I was finally able to shut off everything else and we both slept for about 12 hours. I felt so rested in the morning and my headache was finally gone!
Tuesday was the perfect day to sleep in late. We spent the day driving up to North Conway in the rain. We went into a few shops when we got up there and then went to an early evening movie. We checked around for the best rate on places to stay when we got there and it happened to be where we had stayed last year. The lady that ran the place actually recognized us. She was so excited to hear that we had a baby on the way and said that we need to bring him back next year so that she can meet him. I still can't believe that she remembered us.
Wednesday morning we got up for one of my favorite days of the year. We went to the fair and had a blast! We watched a few horse races and took our time looking at the animals and eating yummy food. I can definitely tell that the baby is growing fast. It seemed like every few steps I was stopping at another bathroom. It is a good thing I have such a patient husband. We were both pretty wiped out by around 3pm and decided that it was a good time to head home. We had an awesome week and I am already excited for next year!
