My big five year old.

Logan turned five last week. For some reason five seems like such a big step to me. He has become very independent with so many things. He needs me a little less all of the time. It is such a strange feeling to be a little sad about all of the change, and truly excited to see all that he will become too. He has been extra cuddly lately, which isn't very typical of him. I have been trying to soak up all of the cuddles while they last.

He wanted a patriots themed birthday this year. We decided to just do a little family get together, and then go to the Boston Museum of Science on his actual birthday. As always, I planned to get pictures of the party, and then forgot to take them once people start getting here. I did get a video of him blowing out his candles though.

His Grammy and Grumps took him out for a special day on the day of his party. It worked out well because he was having a blast while we were getting ready. He had a lobster dinner, his absolute favorite! Then they took him to a Children's museum. Have I mentioned he absolutely loves museums?

Here are a few pictures from our day in Boston. We had so much fun!

This photo is blurry but it shows how daring Eliott is. He is so much less cautious than
Logan was, and it definitely shows in bumps and bruises.

Eliott waving and making faces at himself in the mirror...

Smacking his lips, and trying to get to the fake food. :)

Lunch break!

Logan took this one, and I actually really like it.

Love this sweet boy!

Finally crashed.

  3. That's so cute that he loves museums!! Haha I love it. And 5 does seem like a big number doesn't it? This year we will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary and it seems so unreal to me! Not sure what it is about the number '5' haha.
