This morning I was making breakfast and turned around to Eliott standing on the kid's table. He had climbed up onto the chair, and then onto the table, and was pulling at the things attached to the wall.
A few minutes later when I was cleaning up from breakfast, he was busy getting himself into more trouble. He had climbed up on the couch, scaled the back of it, and was standing in the window in our living room. I can't keep up with this kid today.
Sorry these pictures are blurry. I was taking them quick with my cell phone to fill Dan in on the chaos taking place while he was at work.
A couple hours later, Eliott was napping and Logan asked to play a game on the computer. Just yesterday, he had asked if I would paint a power ranger on his cheek with face paint. Of course searching "power ranger" in google for a reference picture, caused our sidebar to be filled with power ranger costumes.
I decided to use the time that he was playing a game to clean the living room. Then, I sat down to check our email. When I opened our email there was a confirmation for your purchase email from amazon. It turns out that one-click-buy option is not much of a convenience when you have little kids in the house. He bought himself a power rangers sweatshirt. Thankfully, I caught it early enough to cancel the order.
While I was cooking dinner tonight (anyone else noticing the *while I was cooking* trend?) I heard a huge crash in the living room. Then silence.
A fake tree keeps looking better and better. Water from the tree stand, ornaments, and electrical lights (great mix) were everywhere. Thankfully, the boys had been playing behind it. They were both perfectly fine aside from being very surprised. Is it bedtime yet? I am hoping tomorrow is a better day...
oh wow..
ReplyDeleteyup i've had those days where i find myself counting down the minutes..seconds till the day could just end.
glad the boys were behind the tree and not in front..
wishing you less of these days..
Haha thank you :) Yes, so glad that they were both behind it!
DeleteYikes to the tree! My sister knocked over our tree one year when she was little too. Ah, kids! And I love that you got shots of him climbing up on stuff. He's so precocious!
ReplyDeleteYes, very! He is a little too daring... trying to keep up with the bigger kids I think. ;)
