Bumpdate: Week 24

How far along? 24 weeks!
Baby is the size of: A cantaloupe (but since fruit sizes can be misleading... 10.5-12 inches and about 14-20 ounces.)
Maternity clothes: Yes!
Sleep: Good! I am waking up about once a night, unless Logan is up during the night too.
Best moment this week: We had a fun family day looking for a four door vehicle for me. We found the one that we are planning to buy soon, and I am getting pretty excited about having four doors and much more space than our two door offered. Also, I got a few baby kicks on video here which was fun to capture.
Movement: I am loving feeling this one every day, as Logan moved very rarely. He had one day that he was particularly active this past week and I really loved it.
Food cravings: Fruit, chocolate, and milk.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not really.
Gender: Boy
Labor signs: None, but starting to think more about labor and delivery plans now that it is only about 15.5 weeks away! He also reached the viability stage this week, so if for any reason I did go into pre-term labor it is very likely that he would live and be just fine. Thankfully, no signs of that though.
Symptoms: Heartburn like crazy still.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy!
Looking forward to: We ordered the baby's car seat last week, so it will be fun to get that and the new car. I also have most of what we will need to re-do their room now and can't wait to put that all together!

  1. I love bumpdates! and you are having another boy, how fun! I cannot wait until I have a baby someday and can write posts like this, because I always think it is so fun reading about other people's cravings, and other things that go along with pregnancy!

    1. Thanks :) I love reading other people's bumpdates too. I am not sure what it is, but I find it really interesting how different pregnancies can be too.

    1. Thank you! I have heard the myth that the more heartburn you have during pregnancy, the more hair the baby has when they are born. My first son was born with quite a bit of hair (had bad heartburn with him too) so I guess we will see if it holds true this time around. ;)

    1. Yeah, I really liked my car for the most part so I stuck it out with just one to load in there. But now that my belly is getting bigger by the day I am really excited about buying something bigger. :)
