I loved the idea of this post that I have seen going around a bunch of blogs lately. I believe I most recently saw it posted here. I thought it was the perfect thing to do on this rainy afternoon. Something that would make it easy to look back at later in life and see what was going on.
Making: This carpet cleaning recipe my SIL pinned. It did wonders on our carpet this morning.
Cooking: Lemon pepper chicken, oven roasted potatoes, and green beans for dinner.
Drinking: Water... all. the. time.
Reading: One Month To Love... borrowed from a friend.
Wanting: A desk or small table for Logan.
Looking: Out the back window at the river.
Playing: Blocks, cars, play-doh, bubbles, and letter matching games so far today.
Wasting: Time, surfing Etsy with a gift card. I love this site so much that I could just browse forever.
Trusting: God's timing. It is a constant struggle to just let go and trust him.
Sewing: Need to sew, actually. A skirt that I have been thinking about getting done for months now.
Wishing: I had been better about actually printing out pictures of Logan so far. I need to get on this.
Enjoying: Having Dan home all weekend. He usually ends up working or quoting jobs on Saturday.
Waiting: For Logan to wake up.
Liking: The MyFitnessPal app. & Hommus... I hadn't tried it up until a week ago.
Wondering: If I will finally get caught up on laundry. I am so close.
Loving: Days spent with my mom. Sometimes you just need time with your mom.
Hoping: For a nice long fall season and a short winter.
Marveling: At the amount of energy one two year old boy has. He never stops.
Needing: A date with the hubby.
Anticipating: The basement being completely cleaned and organized before winter. A little at a time.
Contemplating: What color we should paint our bedroom.
Smelling: A DIY air freshener. Orange peels, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, sleepy time tea, and lemon juice (whatever I had in the house). It has been simmering most of the day and it has made the whole house smell amazing.
Wearing: comfy clothes... one step up from pajamas.
Following: A few homeschooling blogs. Taking notes in case we go that route some day.
Noticing: How much taller Logan is... 2.5 inches in the past month or so.
Knowing: We are so blessed to have the families that we have.
Thinking: That this has been one of my favorite summers so far.
Praying: For his direction.
Bookmarking: This article about being a patient mom. A nice reminder on those more difficult days.
Opening: Magazines. You can get it all on pinterest, but sometimes it is much more fun to cuddle up on the couch and read a magazine instead.
Giggling: About Logan screaming up the stairs to Dan this weekend... "It's twenty- fourty o'clock. Time to get up daddy!!"
Feeling: Bad for Dan, who thought that the smell in the house meant I was baking something delicious.
If you decide to do this too, post it in the comments because I would love to read it!
Sorry it's taken me so long to stop by, I'm new at this and still don't quite understand all it's intricacies! Love the post- is the book any good? I'm looking for a great book for our upcoming vacation. Also, I'm jealous you drink water all the time, something I know need to do more of, I go for days without drinking anything, terrible for me!

Thanks for stopping by! I just found your blog recently and love your posts! You have such a beautiful family and talent for capturing it all through words. I have only just started the book this week so I can't give you an honest opinion yet, but the friend I borrowed it from really loved it. :)
