A Family Fun Day

Sunday afternoon was sunny and warm. Dan had the day off and we decided to head to a pond to go swimming. We got there right around nap time, and I fully expected Logan to melt down after about an hour. To my surprise, he didn't and we all had a great time. He even wanted to play on the playground for a while before we left.

I have said it before, but I think Logan is my favorite age so far. As much as I loved chubby, six month old Logan, (& each age has it's pros and cons) I am having a blast with his age now too. Most days with him are just so much fun. They are still exhausting, but in a much different way then they were when he was a newborn.

I am so excited to have this summer to spend with him. I can't wait for all day beach trips with friends, vacations with family, backyard picnics, trips to the park and playground, swimming, and so much more. It is so much fun to watch him learn new things and explore the world.
