Babybug Books & Nap Dilemmas

One of my aunts signed Logan up for a year's subscription to babybug books this year for a Christmas present. We get one in the mail every month and Logan is absolutely loving it (we got one in December, January, and February's just came today). His face lights up when something comes in the mail especially for him. We have probably read the one that came just two hours ago ten times already. You can order them according to the age of the child which is great as well. I think they are adorable and it is fun for him to have a surprise every month.

Logan has been fighting naps big time the past week or two. He stays happy the whole time, but it seems that if he takes a nap during the day he won't fall asleep until about midnight, and if he doesn't take at nap he is out at around 8:30 when we put him down. I have been trying to figure out if he really doesn't need naps every day anymore, or if it is just a stage that he will grow out of and be back to the 2-3 hour naps again soon. He has always slept just like I did as a little girl (and much like I still do now). My mom said that I stopped taking naps really early. If you have had children that have been through this, let me know how things went for you.

Since he hasn't been falling asleep every day, I am still having him take a quiet time in the middle of the day. I still put him in his crib to rest (hoping that he will fall asleep). Today I put a couple of books in there for him to look through if he didn't need the sleep. When I went back up to check on him a few minutes ago he was sound asleep with his books. We will see how he does tonight...
