Deck The Halls

Saturday was our Christmas decorating day around here. Logan had been asking about a Christmas tree for at least a month, so we knew he would love it. We spent the day hanging out together and getting the house ready for the season. At night we went to the Christmas parade in the town that I grew up in. It was so pretty to see the downtown area with all of the Christmas lights up.

After the parade my mom and brother came back to our house to help set up the tree and decorate. We watched How The Grinch Stole Christmas while we decorated. We had pizza for dinner, and hot cocoa with marshmallows while we watched the movie. After Logan went to bed we all sat down to watch a grown up movie. It was a pretty perfect way to spend a Saturday.

Dan loved the smell of the Christmas tree in the living room so much that he told me we should get one for the bedroom too. Maybe a candle that smells like Christmas would work too. Any favorites?
