We cooked banana pancakes for breakfast. Then we bundled up and headed out for a little walk. I decided that I would just let him lead me around. We would do whatever he wanted to do. He had been so good about going all over the place yesterday, that it was a fun change to let him lead the way. It is amazing how much a toddler notices the details that we so often miss in the world. He would stop and look at tree bark, or sticks, or rocks for a while.
These are a few of the things we found, labeled with Logan's own vocab.
Logan loves tomatoes. Every few days, we go out and check if any more are ready to be picked. He snacks on those first, and then picks some beans to snack on. Today when I asked if he wanted to go check if there were any more tomatoes that were ready to be picked, he took off running. As he started running he responded with one long run-on word, "NogananadorunnningGO!" in the most excited voice. In case you are still trying to figure out what it meant, it was... Logan Tomato Running GO. He has been learning so many new words, and when he is super excited I guess they all just mix together. Or maybe he has been reading up on #hashtagging?
