Every year Dan and I go away for a few days or a week. We usually go up north and make a day out of going to our favorite fair. It is a couple hours away so we usually spend a few nights at a hotel and get away from everything. I was looking forward to getting away with him. A few weeks ago Dan mentioned that it just wasn't going to happen this year. I was a little upset, but I understand that things are just too crazy to take time off from work right now. We are hoping we will be able to do a little trip sometime this winter.
Andrea messaged me a few days ago and asked if I wanted to take Logan to a fair that is closer to home. I was pretty excited because as much as I love the other fair, Logan still doesn't know the difference. I knew he would love the animals and have a blast with his cousins, so I was all in. I love having some sister bonding time too, so I knew it would be a fun day.
Kids are free, so we packed up all three of them and headed out as soon as they were awake this morning. They had so much fun. They did a few rides together, at some fries, looked at the animals, and watched a horse show. It was the perfect way to spend a beautiful day!
