One perfectly non-productive day

Today was one of these days...

...unless we were cuddling.

The picture above was taken in the five minutes that I put him in the exersaucer to jump in the shower this morning. I don't know if it is from teething, or if he didn't feel well, or if he just needed an extra snuggle day. By around 10am I had pretty much given in and accepted the fact that today was not going to be a productive day. Once I did that, I was perfectly okay with reading the same book 10 times, playing with toys, and holding my sleepy baby for the rest of the day. I am glad that in general he is a very happy little guy and not every day brings this many tears, but today I was thankful for the extra time spent on what really matters. I took the following pictures while he was asleep so that I could look back and remember how tiny he was at 10 MONTHS old (ahhhh!!).

Perfect little ear

I love how he crosses his feet so often when he is sleeping.

I especially wanted to get a picture of his birth mark. The doctor thinks it will be gone by the time he is two, and we have started to notice it fading. I never want to forget that special little mark on his finger if it does go away. :)

His belly button looks just like his daddy's.
